Henderson Libraries Foundation: Building a Better Tomorrow
Libraries enrich the lives of everyone in our community, regardless of age or economic circumstance. Children come to pick out a book and enter a new world. Teens rediscover the library as a cool place to meet friends and do homework. Adults learn to use a computer and improve skills that help them find better jobs.
In order to assist Henderson Libraries during this critical time, in which reduced revenues mean less material on library shelves, the Henderson Libraries Foundation has created its One for a Million campaign directed towards the purchase of materials for library collections throughout Henderson.
Your tax deductible donation to the One for a Million campaign helps make the Henderson Libraries a richer place, one in which everyone can explore new ideas, improve their lives, and enjoy a unique sense of community.
Thank you for creating a legacy of literacy and love for reading.
The Grand Challenge
Our latest fundraising endeavor is The Grand Challenge. We challenge our fundraisers to raise $1,000 in 30 days or less for the Henderson Libraries Foundation.
The Henderson Library District has lost $2.5 million in revenue, which leaves a huge gap in the budget for purchasing books and materials used by patrons. We need your help filling in the holes so we can continue to provide our community with books, magazines, newspapers, CDs, DVDs, e-books and more. This is your chance to show your love for Henderson Libraries. Are you up for the challenge?
